Good Faith Estimate/No Surprise Act
As part of our commitment to transparency and in compliance with Pennsylvania and North Carolina state regulations and the federal No Surprises Act, we provide all prospective clients with a Good Faith Estimate (GFE). This estimate is designed to give you a clear understanding of the expected costs associated with the therapy services I offer before you begin your journey with us as a client.
A Good Faith Estimate outlines the anticipated amount you might pay for therapy services, based on the information available at the time the estimate is provided. It’s important to note that the actual costs may vary, especially if the therapy plan adjusts over time to better meet your needs. However, the GFE is a useful tool to help you plan and make informed decisions about your mental health care without worrying about unexpected charges.
The requirement to provide a Good Faith Estimate is mandated by both federal law and Pennsylvania and North Carolina state regulations, ensuring that all clients have access to transparent and upfront information about the cost of their care. This aligns with our practice’s values of honesty, integrity, and client-centered care.
When you decide to begin working with us, we will provide you with a Good Faith Estimate that details the expected costs for the therapy services we’ve discussed. This estimate will include information such as the cost per session and any other relevant fees that may apply to your care. Please remember, this is an estimate, not a contract, and it is provided to assist you in understanding potential therapy costs.
If you have any questions about the Good Faith Estimate or any other aspect of starting therapy with us, please don’t hesitate to reach out. I’m here to make the process as clear and comfortable as possible, ensuring that you feel supported and informed every step of the way.
